Welcome to La Cava Hostel, in the heart of the city of Mendoza. Our home is an old mansion designed and built by a famous architect, now designated a Mendoza Heritage House. Our superb location on the main city avenue keeps you close to nightlife and all sorts of fun activities, while still offering a good night?s sleep in this beautiful neighborhood. Because of our location, cultural, historical, touristic and other adventures are all nearby.


La Cava is currently looking for travelers who want to spend more time in Mendoza and would be interested in working at the hostel in return for free accommodation!


We have double rooms with your choice or shared or private bathroom as well as a twin room and 3 eight-room dorms, all with shared bathrooms. All rooms have central heating and fans during the corresponding seasons. We offer free wireless internet 24 hours a days, 24 hour reception in case you need anything, and lockers. Our common room features a TV and we have a lovely patio with a swimming pool and barbeque for your use, as well as the fully equipped kitchen in case you want to cook a warm meal. We also offer tourism information and can help arrange any kind of adventure you are interested in!
